Dr. Patricia Huston is the Senior Medical Advisor, Pandemic Preparedness Division, at the Public Health Agency of Canada.  She was Co-Chair of the Pandemic Vaccine, Antivirals and Clinical Care Working Groups that informed the Canadian Pandemic Influenza Plan for the Health Sector, and Project Authority of the online CME course on outbreak preparedness. Dr. Huston has given over 100 professional presentations in both official languages and written over 75 articles in peer-reviewed journals, including The Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine.  Dr. Huston studied Anthropology at McGill, Medicine at University of Calgary and Public Health at Harvard University.

Dre Patricia Huston est conseillère médicale principale, Division de la préparation pandémique à l’Agence de la santé publique du Canada. Elle a été la co-présidente des Groupes de travail sur les vaccins pandémiques, sur les antiviraux et sur les mesures cliniques qui ont inspiré les mises à jour du Plan canadien de lutte contre la pandémie d'influenza dans le domaine de la santé et chargée de projet d'un cours assisté par ordinateur de formation continue sur la préparation aux pandémies.
Dre Huston a réalisé plus de 100 présentations d’ordre professionnel dans les deux langues officielles et a écrit plus de 75 articles publiés dans des revues évaluées par des pairs, notamment dans The Lancet et le New England Journal of Medicine. Dre Huston a étudié l’anthropologie à l’Université McGill, la médecine à l’Université de Calgary et la santé publique à Havard.
